Samsung decided to make their company into one of the biggest smartphone supplier in the world and they have successfully convinced that they mean business, Samsung has been very consistent in providing us with new and innovative technology. And now Samsung is releasing its Galaxy s8 sooner.
Samsung to launch Galaxy S8 sooner than expected
Samsung and Apple are known as the kings of the smartphone market and why wouldn’t it be, both have made some significant contributions to the smartphone world. Apple started off with the first ever iPhone in 2007 and changed the whole future whereas Samsung started to improve smartphones which were running on Android. Well, everything was going good for Samsung until August, 2016. Earlier in the year, Samsung launched the amazing Galaxy S7, which is its primary flagship line. They also decided to launch the Galaxy Note 7 and they did but soon, it was all over the news because of its battery problems which caused it to explode. Samsung then recalled all the Note 7’s and replaced it with the newer problem free devices but when two of the replacement devices burst into flames, they had to call off the production and the sales of the Note 7. After this failure, Samsung really have to do something to get back in the top spot again and it seems like they are going to pull this off in style.
If we look at the history, Samsung generally launch their Galaxy S device in the first quarter of the fiscal year but this time they are going to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8 in the month of January of February which will make it the third flagship launch in the current fiscal year. If Samsung want to post any kind of profit in their balance sheet, then they will have to make it a cracking device. Well, let’s look at how cracking it is!
The first advancement is in the field of display. Samsung used the same quad-HD display in the Galaxy S6, S6 EDGE, S7 and the S7 EDGE and we never thought that it was a bit dull. But the display of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will put the rest of the devices to shame. Samsung will be using an AMOLED panel in two sizes, 5 and 5.5 inch display and this panel will have a 4K ultra HD resolution, first time ever in a smartphone.
Flagships are all about power and that is why the Galaxy S8 will feature a Snapdragon 830 processor which will be better in every way or the Exynos 8890 processor which they cooked in their own factory. The phone will also come in 6 and 8 GB RAM options.
In the S7, you were able to shoot a 4K video at 30 fps but S8 will let you shoot the video at 60 fps and the pixel count has also been increased from 12 to 20 MP.
Launch of the Galaxy S8 can be expected in the first 3 months of the year 2017 and the cost will climb up this time to 60,000 INR because of all the hardware they are packing up.
What we know right now is that Samsung does not want to loose to Apple iPhone, so we can expect new features and durable smartphone symptoms in Samsung S8.
