The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by 1.4GHz hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

It runs on Android 5.1 and is powered by a 4050mAh non-removable battery. It measures 150.00 x 76.00 x 8.65 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 164.00 grams.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Micro-SIM Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Review

Redmi Note 3 is a powerful handset that houses the Snapdragon 650 hexa core chipset. This dual SIM handset with 4G LTE (VoLTE support) is available for ₹9,999 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and ₹11,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Redmi Note 3 comes with Sunlight Display technology as well, and it makes sure that even in bright sunlight, you don’t have trouble reading on this phone. There’s also a reading mode where the screen turns all yellow, blocking out harsh blue light, which is effective if you’re planning to use this smartphone before going to bed.

Battery is the other really strong suit with the Redmi Note 3. Redmi Note 3 is packed with a 4050 mAh non-removable battery. Battery backup is very good you can expect about 5 to 6 hours of continuous moderate to heavy usage.Even if the charging is 40 percent and with constant notifications on WhatsApp, Facebook alerts, browsing, gaming, the phone lasts one-and-a-half days.

The touch ID based finger print scanner works well, very fast and accurate. You can unlock the phone using FP sensor by simply placing the finger on the sensor and hold for few seconds (there is no need to press any button).

The biggest letdown for the Redmi Note 3 is the camera, both front and rear. In proper daylight  or even solid indoor light, the camera performs decently, although PDAF takes some time to adjust and focus. The camera however struggles with low-light, and even slightly darker colours.
